Colorful Kindness!!

Hello there!! I'm so excited to be back to my blog after traveling for a month. I visited San Francisco for a week and the I flew out to Costa Rica for vacation and for visiting my family.

During the last month I really missed making cards. So I couldn't wait to start playing with my stamps again, yay!!

Today, I made a colorful one layer card, inspired by YNS Sketch and Color Challenge #41. I used both the sketch and the colors.

I stamped the flowers with VersaMark Ink and white embossed them. Then I created my  own square "stencil" and blended distress inks using the colors suggested for the challenge.

Then stamped the Mini Flower Splatter using the same colors, and finally I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onix Black.

The Sketch & Colors:

Supplies:
  • Cardstock: Neenah Solar White
  • Stamps: Plant Some Kindness, Mini Flower Splatter (Your Next Stamp)
  • Ink Pads: Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Mowed Lawn, Shaded Lilac, Picked Raspberry (Distress Ink) / Leaf Green (Archival Ink) / Emerald Isle (Ranger Dye Ink) / Rose Bud, Lilac Posies (Memento) / Onix Black (Versafine)

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!
Raquel

  1. You rocked this challenge with both the sketch and colour inspiration. Nice work. I love the distress ink colours behind the flower. I also like how you repeated the mini ink flower splatter on the bottom of the card. Thanks for playing along with our sketch/colour challenge at Your Next Stamp.
