Quilled Heart Flower

Hello and welcome!!

Here with more Valentine cards... This time I'm sharing a card using one of my favorite techniques: quilling.
First, I stamped the sentiment and the leaves and colored them with colored pencils.
Then die cut the flower vase four times, three from white cardstock and one from polka dots cardstock, and glued them together to give dimension to my flower vase.
Finally, I quilled a pink heart and glued to my card... Simple and beautiful!!

Quilled Flower Tag

Hello and welcome!! Today, I was playing with my quilling tools and made a couple of flowers.
So I decided to use one of those quilled flowers to create my tag for Tag You're It Challenge #54.
This time, the inspiration tag was made by Michelle Short and it feature a nice flower and a blue background.

For my tag ... I die cut my tag from watercolor cardstock. Then stamped the stem and leaves using Archival Ink, and colored the leaves using my new Wink of Stella glitter pens.

After tat, I masked the leaves and sponged the blue background using Distress Ink, and sprinkled some water to give more texture to my background.

Finally, I glued my quilled flower and sentiment.

Floral Quilled Card

Hello!! Today, I want to share a beautiful quilled card, which I made especially for my dear mother in-law.
Quilling or "paper filigree", is the craft of curling, bending and arranging strips of paper to create beautiful and detailed artwork.
I love this technique. Hope you like it!!

 

¡Hola! Hoy quiero compartir esta hermosa tarjeta que hice especialmente para mi querida suegra en su cumpleaños.
La técnica que utlicé se llama Quilling o Filigrana y consiste en enrollar tiras de papel para crear hermosos diseños decorativos.
Esta técnica me encanta, espero les guste.
