Rainbow Butterflies

Hello and welcome!!

Today I want to share a pretty and colorful  birthday card. It's a simple card to make.
I simply stamped the butterfly using three different color combos to create a rainbow effect in my card. Then, I gold embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum and... that's it!

Here's my card...

A close-up...

For this card I was inspired by the following challenges:

It's your day!

Hello and welcome!!

Today I'm sharing a one layer birthday card. The circle background was ink blended using a sponge dauber and three different colors of distress ink. Then stamped the images and lines with black ink.
I love the gradient look of the background.

Here's my card...

Peacock Feathers

Hello there! I've seem some cards on Instagram using the "camouflage" technique, which I really like and wanted to give it a try.

First, I stamped two peacock feathers and then die cut that section using a small stitched rectangle die. To make it pop out, I die cut the same rectangle several times, glued them together into the opening and adhered the original die-cut piece on top.

Then, I die cut the peacock from white cardstock and heat embossed it using green embossing powder for the body. For the tail I wanted a teal, and since I don't have that color, I created my own by mixing green and blue embossing powder.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment using red and orange ink to add a bit of color and to complement the teal color.

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #171, and  Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week the challenge is: Emboss it!

Here's my card...

Here is a better look of the tail and the color I managed to get by mixing green and blue embossing powder.

Ladybugs and Flowers Background

Hello friends! Hope everything is doing well :)
I love creating stamped backgrounds. For that reason, I'm sharing a card I made using my own background.
I colored it with markers and used a white gel pen to accent the center of the flowers and the ladybug's eyes. For a bit of sparkle, I used a glitter gel pen on the spots of the wings.
I'm playing along in the CA(E) this Sketch #169 Challenge.

¡Hola amigos! Espero que estén muy bien :)
Me encanta crear mis propios fondos utilizando sellos.

Here's the card...

Here's a close up of the ladybugs, so you can see the glitter on the spots of the wings.
